Hello

My name is Faress

As a young athlete, I played a lot of high school basketball, street ball and college basketball. Throughout those years of running, jumping and competing, I never once thought about nutrition and how I should eat. It was all about taking supplements that speed up muscle growth and I didn't pay attention to how that affected the health. At the end my 7 years of training 5 days a week and competing on the weekends more important things in life took priority. Playing basketball was reduced to 3 days a week and then down to 1 day a week to sometimes 1 day a month. Life took over and when I did play basketball, tennis or volleyball, my mind still thought I was as fit and agile but my body didn't agree. Recovering form playing any sport took longer and longer, and I was more prone to injuries. I was in a stage in life where I really had to pay attention to what I ate and the types of nutrients my body needs.

For the last 15 years, I have learned the value of exercising regularly to stay lean and strong. With a busy lifestyle and increasing responsibilities, it was not easy to cook the best meals, eat the right amount of fruits and vegetable, get the right amount of rest and manage the stresses of life. It became clear that exercise alone was not good enough. I came across a company that provided nutritional supplements to fill in the gaps when I couldn't get enough nutrients in my body. That saying "you are what you eat" was right at that time but years later I discovered that it was no longer good enough. No matter how good an ingredient is, if your body can not absorb it then it is a waste! The more appropriate saying for today is "you are what you absorb." I am fortunate to have discovered THREE.
